This night i read that the best trekking on Tenerife is closed forever. Its a Masca gorge. Something happened at summer time and a lot of people were killed by stone fall.

But we will go to village Masca.
Road is an additional adventure. Its perfect quality, narrow, with awful 180 turns. And there are a lot of people who would like to see Masca.

They are come by bus, by minibus, by car.  And all this on one tiny road….. Big stress for driver….

Village Masca is like mini Machu Picchu with Vaina Picchu. And gorge go dawn into mystic darkness.

For locals from summer starts collapse. Crowds of people observe Masca gorge before. But not now. Of course they come.  Some people descent like crabs to the lower terraces for the cup of coffee.  That’s all. This village if no one open the gorge will sleep forever.

Fucking serpentine up and we turn to Los Gigantes. Nature Wonder.  Huge volcanic walls fallen into the ocean. Big Touristic area, everywhere cars, hotels, people, shops….no place for parking. Beach is 150 m dawn. In big black stones. And in shadow. No. We are escape.

And here we found our first traffic jam! Its too much! We turned to the mountains and after 20 min, of course crazy road, get to autobahn.

We are approach Las Americas. OMG! I am so happy that we live in Los Silos. Our Sleeping Beauty… Here i see aggressive big city with numerous big hotels. And this city is really big.
Turn. To Villaflores. As fast as possible!

After Villaflores its a right turn to gravel road Madre del Agua. No trespass. Only by car. Ok. 4 km more and we left our car in the volcanic forest. I need to find the road to Lunar Pesajes.

This trekking, or walking, dont know, is short, easy, overcrowded and ended by small group of peribagalares. Only those which are on every Canaries picture….. Nothing more…. People who had been in Cappadocia , like we are, stay  in stupid silence. So, this is our relax day. Nothing special.
