At 6am I asked personal organize to us taxi to Autthaya. In one hour it appears. Only 200 Batt more then russian service.

Three hours and we are in Autthaya. And it’s hot there.
One train station we left our luggage. 10 Batt per piece.

I think that we will do sightseeing by bicycle. But it was only my idea. Everyone  wants scooter.

There were only two scooters near the train station.

So, slowly, we moved by wide, empty road to the first big historical complex. First cross the river by boat.

It was hot. Only we are by foot. My GPS occasionally show distance in miles.  I felt how all my children, husband and friends want to kill me.

 

We approach the first complex. Today, we are lucky, entrances are free. For us it’s 100 USD present. Complex is with big old stupas, bad reconstructed. Numerous tourists lazy walked around. Burma people made their Cartagena here. Thousands of stupas and temples were destroyed. City do not exist any more.

Next huge stupa. Long walking . Hot. I will be killed. We get into the huge yard. But people. They are everywhere.
Desicion – hire tuk tuk. Long conversation – how many hours, which places ext.
So, sightseeing became more vivid.
I cannot say that ruins  made me exciting. No.

But when we get into the milky Bbudha statue, with legs- toy to toy, and this Dgokonda smile, I understand, that place is nice. Next one was near the river. Big Stupa and square around the tample. Dozens of beheaded Buddha’s.

Time to eat. Here it is floating market. But what is it? For forigners 200 pp! Locals , of course, free. We are 6. We can eat on this money! Buy!
We took some Thai food on simple market.

And now the last temple. It was the best. With numerous Buddha’s sitting around square perimeter. Thus statues are donations. And people put on yellow strip on “their” statue . It’s all really beautiful during sunset time.

We turned to sit near the pond. Big brown stones inside milky water. They moved! They are huge, gigantic turtles! People proposed them food. We can give them only leaves.

Night came fast.
Tuk tuk left us near the street night market. It’s such a lot of unknown meal here! We tried something. We also bought soup with long white mushrooms. Every meal packed into the transparent plastic bag. They are really strong and good quality. During the trip ANY bag didn’t cracked!

To rich Chiang Mai we have a train. Autthaya is passing station. The train follow from Bangkok.  It arrived with 15 min delay. We run to our second class wagon ✓2.
It’s cold inside and looks like our platscarta. There are 4 beds in every cage – two left side and two right side. All are parallel to wagon. Every berch has personal curtain – it’s my room, bye-bye!
It was very comfortable safety journey. Cold. I put on my dawn jacket and freeze. Breakfast was provided in additional payment. Expensive and not testy.

In the morning we arrived to Chiang Mai.
