Wow, Maldives!

It was  not our  first trip to  Maldives. And I can tell you – Maldives – is wonderful! Well,  how you can not  enjoy the warm ocean – +30, azure atolls, fish, flocks grazing near the bungalow! Mistake was arriving into the  diving hotel.

In such hotel we were the first time. In Kiev, it should be alerted that  there is a German five-star Diving center. Everyone is already clear what it means? And we, I mean,  I do not understand that in  Kiev. Do not feel. We forgot about the German order and discipline.

Near the entrance, there are always tanks with air and nitrox. Please, come, take what you want and dive on the house reef. As  much  as you want. Just sign in. And then sign out. And that we liked very much!

Since that was  dive hotel, all clients were divers! We did not go diving with less than 16-17 divers. . We all had one guide. He briefly explained where and at what depth we need dive better  And  that is all. Jump!

We arrive  to  Maldives during the coming monsoon. Constantly blowing north-east  wind. The water was slightly cloudy but very warm. Fishes  in the Maldives  don’t afraid  human beings. We examined the eyes of Napoleon-fish 10 minutes. The eye was purple and rotated in all directions. But Napoleon did not go away from us.

We found a small cave entrance guarded by a huge tuna. We removed tuna  by hands to look inside. In the cave there was a huge, three-meter shark-nurse. We tugged her by the tail. Shark sighed and continued her dream.

Then there was the Manta Point. And the huge 5 meter long manta ray swam over our heads. And then swam another 2 small manta rays. During  the night dive we see fish- list . It was yellow and gently swaying. And in caves around lived the giant lobsters. With huge mustaches.

During our stay at hotel we had of course  a couple of troubles.

We had one  dives at Ocean Bank. Depths Dive 15- 20m. Bank itself is a 5 meter depth. It was chatting.  And rainy. We get  to the bank. Jump by giant leap at a distance of 100 meters from the banks. The brave Italian instructor, checking the flow, assured  us  that the depth  around  somewhere  like  20 meters. All jumped. But we left side of boat and rest – right side. It was  in the rules. Allowed. The water seemed very blue. We began to descend. 20-25-30m. No bottom! We  checked direction by compasses. All OK. And there is  still no bottom. I checked that some divers get deeper …  We decided to go up. One during ascent has problems – great dizzy. We blow buoy, made 3 m stop. When we  were picked up  to the ship, the results were depressing – 30m – 12min. Italian instructor flashed glasses and politely pointed out that other divers have found the bank.  220u.e. in support of developing Germany.
