Train from  Kochin to Chennai (Madras).
We will go to Chennai by Raptisagar Express. Morning train. We know nothing about comfor in this train and nothing about the railway station.

We are on the station 1,5 hours before our trip.
Its strange, but OK. Everywhere are chairs,  small basins with drinking water. Its not dirty. Its a big whiteboard with written numbers of expresses and platforms. But you need to find this board.
I have paper with our names and number of coach and seats. B2. No ideas where this coach will be.  And we have only 10 min for loading. And i saw also, that there is no connection between coaches. May be in not all trains. Hope.
5 min before schedule our train appears. It was very long. And our B2 was after A1, A2 and B1 at the head. We run between numerous bags, crowds of people.

Our coach is with AC. It has many open plackart compartments, each for 8 persons. We had 2 compartments.
It was cold, not dirty.

Train slowly moved.
During our 13 hours trip we had at least 15 stops. They were more or less in time.
Three times it was cleaning of coach, once coach was parfumed, outside windows were cleaned at least 5 times, persons with Karthner vacum clean toilets at least 3 times!
And personal with tea, coffee, hot dishes, biscuits, cola and water moved all time in both directions.
Sometimes we were disturbed by cocroaches.
It was interesting and pleasant journey. I sat and observed chanching in nature. We moved to north and then turned east. Mountains get clother. It were Ghates. Area became dry, like african savanna. Numerous villages finished. It was empty territory without any green jungle or mountains green lushes.

No one said that it must be your stop.
Chennai at night time was dirty, with awfull smeels, rats, crowds of red eyed people. In sleeping coaches hundreds of people tske out abd put it boxes, packs ext.

Outside the railway we were surrounded by taxi drivers. In few minutes policemen witg strong, long stick appears. He lift the stick and crowd get away.

We went to airport for our flight to Port Blair.
